Thomas George Estates was established in 2008 when Tom Baker acquired the winery and vineyards of Russian River Valley pioneer Davis Bynum, who produced the region’s first single-vineyard Pinot Noir on this historic site. Today, we honor that legacy by crafting wines that celebrate the unique terroir of the Russian River Valley.
As a family-owned and operated winery, we are dedicated to crafting small-lot, limited-production wines that authentically express the varietal, terroir, and vintage of our estate vineyards. Our passion for winemaking is rooted in a respect for tradition and a dedication to innovation.
Our wines are exclusively produced from four distinct estate vineyards—Baker Ridge, Cresta Ridge, Starr Ridge, and Sons & Daughters Ranch—each contributing its own unique characteristics to our portfolio.
Since the 2017 vintage, we have committed to producing only Single Vineyard and Single Block Wines, ensuring that each bottle expresses the individuality and essence of its vineyard source.
Our mission is to identify and highlight micro-terroirs within our vineyards, crafting Single Block Wines that stand out in character, complexity, and distinction.
