BAKER RIDGE VINEYARD, BROTHERS & SISTERS BLOCK – RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY

The 2017 Pinot Noir from Baker Ridge Vineyard, Brothers & Sisters Block offers a sophisticated and expressive profile. With aromas of dark cherry, truffle, cedar, and forest floor, with subtle hints of dried cranberry and spice, this is supported by firm tannins and a long, savory finish.

Why we love this Wine

The 2017 Brothers & Sisters Block Pinot Noir reflects one of the most distinctive expressions of Baker Ridge Vineyard. Originally planted by Davis Bynum in the 1970s, these vines stood for nearly five decades before being replanted in 2020. The name “Brothers & Sisters” pays tribute to the balance of power and harmony found in this wine — firm structure met by refined, elegant fruit. This block consistently produces Pinot Noir of depth and intensity, with darker fruit tones and earthy complexity. Aged for sixteen months in French oak, the 2017 vintage is richly textured, showing precision and grace while honoring its historic roots
